so well…. i have been having a lot of troubles recently. I am now down 70.4 pounds, down six pant sizes and 4 tops sizes yet i still cant see the weight loss. I see it in the clothes and the way i feel when running my hands across my stomach but when looking into the mirror i dont see any change over the past eight months. Then today, i was at a friends house and we were taking pictures and i looked at thep ictures and was disgusted!! why is it after 70 plus pounds that i still look absolutely obese!!! i feel that this is not working and im never going to be skinny/healthy. what is wrong with me?!!!!

I am so sorry to hear that you are frustrated.
Our minds are so powerful.
You have done an amazing job! Have you tried positive self talk? Sometimes we have to speak truth over and over to ourselves before it even starts to sink in.
Praying for you interfriend

That last comment was from me: CPT Mom. I was signed in under the Racer. Sorry.
I am sure she feels the same way

Thanks for the comment on my blog. I know how you feel. I have only lost 48 pounds in the last year-and yes it is so great to go shopping and be able to buy smaller clothes-but I still hate the way my legs look in those dresses. Even though I have gone down several sizes in pants it’s hard to see a difference in the mirror. On top most of the weight has come off my chest-not exactly the place you want to slim down-know what I mean!
Anyway-keep it up you are doing great. We are our own worst critic. Even though we may not be able to see the changes in our bodies-our friends and family can definatly see them. Your doing great-keep it up!

I think there are sometimes things about our bodies that we’ll hate no matter what. You’ve done such an awesome job by losing so many pounds and dropping so many sizes! Get the Skinny Songs CD and dance to it EVERY day. It’s fun, encouraging music. HEALTH is what is truly important, not skinny! You are doing healthy things for your body and that’s a very good thing. Hang in there.
And thanks for the kind comments on my blog.

About the only thing I can say is hang in there. It took me over 2 years to lose 903 lbs. but I still feel like I haven’t lost anything at times so believe me, you’re not alone.
You’re doing fine. Stick with it and congrats so far!

Regarding my post above…that should be 93 lbs. not 903. Sorry!
